The Irish Times (Graduate Data Analyst, Current)

Leveraging Customer and Traffic data to drive strategic decisions and gain insight into the Irish Times / Irish Examiner Group readership. Predominantly using SQL / R / Python to gain insight, and Pentaho as an open-source ETL tool for data wrangling, reporting automation, and communication of findings to the wider business. Further, utilizing the Selenium package in java to automate data scraping from webistes.

I researched and implemented python for various practical applications and modeled blackjack game as a project. Further, I assisted in designing of a quadcopter which implemented image recognition using SVM algorithm with Arduino. I helped in the development of a 2D game in Unity (C#).

I assisted the NGO in organizing an intervention about deaddiction, power of NO and importance of education for 500 street children. I frequently volunteered to teach children primary school subjects such as Mathematics and English.

I edited the daily news to make it more explicable for social media. I managed the organization’s photography and travel social media pages. In conclusion, I developed the skill of concise writing and digital presence.
